8DAYS LODGING TOUR: Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro crater
Day 0: Arrival at the Arusha/Kilimanjaro airport
At the day of your arrival we will come at the airport for picking up you and drive you to the hotel for overnight ready for the next day to start your tour.
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National park
Pick us up from Arusha hotel and drive to Tarangire in the morning. Today we drive to theTarangire National Park., which is more densely wooded than the other parks, primarily covered in acacia woodland studded with the iconic Baobab Trees. After a picnic lunch, you will go to the Tarangire River which attracts a large range of mammals and birds. You might see over 500 elephants in their family groups during the course of the day. The bird life is spectacular ranging from Fish Eagles and Palmnut Vultures, storks, and brightly coloured barbets. Dinner and Overnight at the Tarangire Safari lodge
Day2: Tarangire National park
The next day after breakfast, we drive from Tarangire to the Mt Hanang District to visit the Barabaig people, traditional enemies of the Masai, these Nilotic people have abandoned the nomadic life for keeping their herds around the Katesh area later back to the lodge or camp (Tarangire Safari lodge)
Day 3: Tarangire - Serengeti National Park
The breakfast will be at 0600am. Pick up from the Camp at 0700am and drive to the Great Serengeti National with your Picnic Lunch Packed and game drives en route via Ngorongoro Crater rim. The Serengeti National Park the home to lion, leopard, Elephant, Cheetah, Buffalo, Zebra, Wildebeest, Eland, Wild dog, Gazelles, Crocodiles and more. Serengeti is one of the most comprehensive and appealing internet presentations on nature, conservation and research in general. Every day, hundreds of nature-lovers and tourists from all over the world visit the virtual Serengeti. Experiencing the local maasai people around lake manyara. in our day it is one of the most famous national parks on Earth, renowned for its magnificent lions but best known for its great migration. Day 4: Central Serengeti to North game
After breakfast, continues with both morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti National Park. Remember this is the migration safari, so as Serengeti is very large as your game drives will depend on the move of the migrants, your guide knows very well how to locate the herds. The Serengeti National Park is famous for the 'Great Migration', over one million wildebeest and two hundred thousand plus zebras each year follow the rains. In October and November they travel from the mountains of the north, southwards to the plains seeking lush pastures. After the great rainy season in April, May, and June the herds then make their return ward journey. Even without this mass migration, the Serengeti is still an exciting and spectacular place that still cannot fail to enthrall Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge
Day 5 & 6: Northern Serengeti game drive
After breakfast we will drive you full game drive following the animal Migration at the Northern Serengeti where the migration will be, you can be see wildebeest, zebra, a topi hartebeest, eland, antelope, hyena, varieties of birds singing on the trees also viewing beauty of landscape &nature. Usually At the month of August and November, the migration reaches its northern range: the grasslands on either bank of the crocodile-infested Mara River which the herds must cross not once, but twice, as they complete their migration. Also we will be able to enjoy sunset at Serengeti between 18:20pm -18:40pm after game drive late in the evening back to back to Overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge
Day 7: Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater Rim
Wake up at early 0600hours for early morning game drives in Serengeti at 0900 hours back to the Lodge for breakfast. Here in the Serengeti region you can often watch wildebeest and zebras next to lions and other big cats such as leopards and cheetahs. Lunch is taken at a picnic spot before a slow drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. On the way you will pass the Olduvai Gorge where the English pair, Louis and Mary Leak pioneered excavation work. In the sixties some of the earliest archaeological deposits of human evolution was found and a small museum (visit optional) documents these discoveries. Then check out and drive with lunch and game viewing en route to Ngorongoro Crater Rim. Dinner and Overnight at the Rhino wildlife Lodge
Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater Floor - Arusha
Wake up early morning for breakfast then at 0730hours drive to Ngorongoro Crater where you will descend into the Crater floor (19.2 km of diameter, 610m deep, 304 sq km) for game drives. All the Big five Rhino, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Elephant live in this wonderful caldera, and many more mammals. Birds include flamingos on the Soda lake, Geese, Storks, Vultures and more. Break for lunch at Ngoitoktok spring Picnic site. Ngorongoro Crater is often called 'Africa's Eden' the '8th Natural Wonder of the World'. A massive extinct volcano, its towering tree lined walls drop thousands of feet to a "Noah's Ark" of animals on the verdant floor below. Nowhere else can such a diversity in wildlife be experienced in such a short period of time. After lunch proceed with game viewing while ascending the Crater and drive to Arusha.
